What Amazon Web Services is
AWS is Amazon's cloud platform. Rather than buying and running servers, you rent computing, storage, databases, and networking as managed services and pay for what you use.
A broad cloud platform for hosting applications, databases, storage, networking, background processing, and managed infrastructure services.
How Axis uses it
We size cloud infrastructure to the actual application. A small internal tool does not need the same footprint as a customer-facing platform, and overbuilding it only creates a bill and a maintenance burden.
